Burns Lodge is the jewel in the crown of Mosgiel for history and venue facilities. Our extensive grounds, beautiful rooms, catering options and a range of accommodation styles offers an ideal venue for any wedding.
Wedding Ceremony
Our beautiful Classical Romanesque Chapel is the idyllic setting for a ceremony and represents the epitome of luxury and sophistication. Built in 1900 the Chapel has a marble altar, hand painted copper gilded ceilings, ionic pilasters, chandeliers and leadlight arch windows. It is a magical backdrop for any wedding ceremony, spacious yet intimate for up to 80 guests.
Multi-denominational and Inter-faith ceremonies can be held in the Chapel.
Accommodation at Burns Lodge
We have accommodation onsite for up to 120 guests . Plus wonderful rooms for dining and refreshments or simply relaxing. We offer package deals tailored to your requirements.
Catering Options
Our staff provide full catering with a range of buffet style menus available. We are confident in our first class service, attention to detail and delicious food.
