From the first booking inquiry to the return of room keys, we received calm, clear, courteous and prompt service. The venue proved perfect for our needs: a large meeting room, easily warmed on cold days and equipped with sound system, whiteboard, etc; spotlessly clean rooms and ablution block; comfortable beds; simple, well-cooked food and a comfortable common room – all set in lovely surroundings, with eay access to Mosgiel and the surrounding area. Above all, we appreciated the unassuming but constant presence of our hosts and the gracious service we received throughout the weekend. Thank you, Burns Lodge, for such a positive experience. |
